Marlene enjoys every opportunity to spend time with her family, especially if it includes her awesome grandchildren. A life-long joy of singing has led to many years of participation in an a capella chorus that performs in the community and in competitions around the world. All of that doesn’t leave much time for reading, sewing, cooking, spectator sports and all those other fun things in life.

Walking on the Great Wall in China, viewing Hong Kong Harbor from Victoria Peak, cruising the Yangtze River, driving the North Country in England, thrill at the majesty of the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace, sailing down the Grand Canal in Venice, marvel at the beautiful walled city of Dubrovnik, explore the majestic Rockies, stroll the beautiful white sand beaches, and attend outstanding theatre in New York and London all contribute to the awe and wonder of travel experiences. A: The diversity of Vancouver. This city is very cosmopolitan, yet exudes a casual atmosphere. It offers a myriad of sights, nature, excellent dining and a wide variety of entertainment. A city that is a destination.
